Damien Christopher
LA Based recording artist.
Damien Christopher's first independent EP won him a place on the college charts and remixes found its way the floors in the New York City downtown club scene.
His first full length CD "Love Drive By" was pre-released in Europe in 2003. It was released in the US in 2004 and his single "I Awake" quickly found its way on national charts as a independent artist and broke into the top 100.
The follow-up "A Tangent universe" was released in 2008 his single "Deep Runs the Night" a runaway underground hit also found its way onto national radio. In 2009 DamienChristopherTv was launched on www.youtube.com and with 6 innovative music videos.
Damien joined Mark McCleese aka "The Pet Project" and released "The 11th Hour Vault mixes" in summer 2010.

A Native of Detroit, moved to Los Angeles where he teamed with Damien Christopher to remix "The 11th Hour", a single from his last release "A Tangent Universe". His latest work with Damien is the record "Engulfed".
"Studying music for the past 20 years has been a practice and discipline of mine. Keeps me rooted in something that I know is universal. Pulling in audiences from all over the globe to celebrate life, integrity, and looking ahead to what the future holds, which I'm sure will be quite evident in our exciting upcoming album."
Presently on over 60 online music sited including iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon music. Damien Christopher and the Pet Project plan to launch a brand new 16 track CD fall 2011 titled "Engulfed".

The New CD
It started as a stream of conscious and quickly developed as a bunch of inside jokes that made literal sense based on introspection and observation of the society and culture. While writing the record Mark and myself were conscious of building a collection of songs. We wrote about 20 songs together and others I pulled out of the archives that I felt had merit and were worth rebuilding.

Making Music Fun Again

When was the last time you listened to a CD all the way through and was sad that it was over? The last time I had that experience was with Green Day's American Idiot and that was way back in 2004.
Although completely different in both style and substance of Idiot, the new CD from Damien Christopher and the Pet Project, ENGULFED shares the same sonic stream of consciousness that carries you joyfully from one song to the next and tells a story that maybe this crazy world still has some fight left in it.
