I fell into a nova
that was burning in my head
before my world was turning
and I was running in the red
Caught a flashback daydream
that made my eyes turn green
now fumes are high and burning
that taste like gasoline
You can find me on the wire
you can find me like a theme
can’t find a situation
to bleach my soul back clean
Though I may never backtrack
if all my dreams turn red
I’d swallow any feedback
before I made my bed
-Morning breaks
with eyes open or eyes closed
cashing in on a moment
shedding light on what I’m sold
I stumble upon it like a latter day sonnet
there’s one thing that rings true
it all comes down to nothing
when it all comes down to you
If dreams could have some sequence
if Freud could have some say
I always shoot my mouth off
don’t know any other way
If I start swinging at my face
will you stop to grab my wrists?
That breaks up all the fear and
pull down all the stars I missed
